How do you watch this without falling asleep?
Seriously need help guys. Any tip will do. I’m willing to try just about anything.

shareIt takes dedication. It takes pure and unadulterated love for the books.
And, possibly, a predisposition for masochism.
This is not a joke. I fell asleep while watching episode one, and again during episode two.
shareMulti-task. I was playing other games on my computer while bingeing. Admittedly, I missed some details, but it made the boring stuff more palatable too. Not a bad show, not a good show, just meh. Apparently the books were better.
shareHonestly yes, when I watch something I watch something. If it is that bad I will turn it off but I badly want to like this so I give it my all, I find myself having to multitask with something while I watch so I can half pay attention and keep it on. I find it melodramatic with bad dialogue and inconsistent tone but I try my best. I really hope season 2 is better but so far I give it 5/10.
shareSame here!
I thought I would love this show as the genre is right up my alley but through sheer boredom I was asleep 25 mins in.
Henry Cavill looks crazy hot but it was not enough to keep me interested or awake.
I’ve read on here that his low pitched voice is very ‘in character’ but I think it helped lull me into dream land. Well, that and the fact that nothing exciting happened in those 25 mins other than him killing the beastie in the pond right at the beginning.
I am super disappointed as I was really looking forward to a new show to binge.
Not sure if I will give it another go?
Yup, that first scene I was like, “oh damn this is going to be a good one.” Last thing I remember was some lady picking fruit from a tree topless. If a pair of tits couldn’t keep me awake, this series has no chance.
shareCoffee????
shareNo trouble for me. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
share20 minute chunks. I can't take more than that at once.
