Considering how Ocean's 8 earned close to $297 million at the international box office, it does not make sense that Ocean's 9 has not happened yet.

You think they are really going to gamble on the female oceans gimmick working twice after the audience reviews weren't good at all compared to the original films?

Seeing as the angry white man anti woke contingent turns out out be a small and pathetic basement dwelling minority.
If you graphed those figures you'd see the usual diminishing returns for sequels taking a bit of an uptick on that last one.
Diminishing returns being the key word there. And like I said the gimmick probably helped it a bit which it won't for another film.
shareWasn't there a plan to combine the two teams (11 & 8) into one grand finale movie? Whatever became of that?
