Well, there is an old unwritten rule in movies and TV that if the audience doesn't see the body, it's because the character isn't really dead. So it's possible that he is still alive - but explaining that away would require some Cirque du Soleil-level contortionism by the screenwriters!

I think Marty would've taken a peek at the body before sliding him into the furnace.

They've talked about Ben way too much this first part of the season for him to not be alive, its like every episode his name is talked about, his face is shown on the missing poster, telling us every episode "Hey Ben is dead". I think its all being set up to show us Ben is alive and locked up in Mexico in the same dungeon Marty was kept in.

Maybe Javi can even use it if Ruth has him at gunpoint to save his life, be like "Hey your boyfriends still alive, you kill me he's dead".

Cause Ben's entire body being wrapped up never set right with me, why would they do that? why would we not see his face as Marty and Ruth see his body? We never saw him get killed, it just cut away, then we see his body wrapped up from head to toe.
