The stronger creature won, but...

Godzilla defeated Kong. But let's be honest. This should've been a curb stomp. Godzilla is bigger, stronger, has tougher skin, plates on his back, atomic breath, powerful tail, can breathe underwater, can withstand missiles, and can survive nuclear bombs being detonated on him.
Kong is hurt by bullets. Can punch (but so can Godzilla).
Godzilla should've destroyed Kong with or without his magical ax. But I guess the film has to please the Kong fans too. Oh well.

But Kong defeated 3 T Rex's at one time in the King Kong 2005 film

Yeah, its clearly noted that Godzilla is stronger than Kong. Idk why people wonder who would win. It's just like batman v superman where the movie showed how weak batman clearly is compared to superman.

There should some kind of rock down in Hollow Earth that is like kryptonite to Superman, to weaken Godzilla. This way Kong has a chance

Godzilla could've simply roasted Kong with his atomic breath and he did burn KONGS arm in one scene and gave him a taste of who not to fuck with.. Also, by having KONG defeat Mecha Godzilla, it sort of redeemed KONG somewhat, even though he didn't beat the real deal
