The Terminator: Dark Fate boards have been ablaze for months due to the SJW PC-washing crap in that movie, but it’s WAY WORSE in this one! I just saw a TV spot and they mention “this is a girl’s job” or some other woke SJW crap like 5 times in 30 seconds!

I see three reasons:
I don’t think there was much of a call for this movie.
The tv show was already done as a movie fairly recently.
Didn’t cast three ultra hotties. I think a CA starring Margot Robbie, Gal Gadot and ScarJo would have a better shot.
No, they cast three actresses who work a lot cheaper!
And FYI back in the day, some people thought the original TV show was a feminist fantasy, wish fulfillment for women (and others thought it was good-looking garbage). So if this movie strikes some people as being SJW-y, it's true to the story's roots.

I think because it's supposed to be and expected to be. Where as Terminator is supposed to be a hard boiled gritty horror/thriller.
shareThis exactly. I think wokeness is only bad if it rears its head where it's not needed. Action movies like The Terminator aren't designed to educate on social taboos or convey a distinct message, underlying themes sure but mainly they're just supposed to be cool and feminism isn't cool to a lot of people. Charlie's Angels hasn't got a dedicated fanbase per say so I doubt this will annoy anyone.
shareI'd guess it simply has way less of a hardcore fanbase that cares. And that's fine; any press being good press, the less attention movies like this gets, the less we'll see of them.
I've never seen the original TV series but I once saw the 00's movie and it struck me more as "Jane Bond(s)" than feminism, especially today's sort.
This one's Angels looks like they'd be scolding that one's Angels, for being strong attractive women who do things like use their sex appeal to men (gasp) to complete their missions. Woke blasphemy! :)
