Just saw it online... Oh my goodness, it was just awful

How could they do this to the franchise? this has to be the absolute worst in the entire series and makes the 2001 third sequel ( the one considered the worst) look like a masterpiece. This was a cheesy, poorly acted, poorly planned and very ''dated'' (in terms of ''tropes'') film. They could have done so much better than this.

The thing is, the beginning of the movie was not even that bad.. just slightly rushed.. but when it gone to the mid point it became horrendous. It seemed like one of these cheesy action films from the late 90's with the obvious ''villains'' and predictable plot. Again, very dated film making and even special effects. Please do not spend any money watching this in the theater. You will regret it.

so you just confessed online that you broke copyright laws by watching an illegal copy. and you really think watching a blurry camrip qualifies you to judge a movie and its special effects in particular? sorry, no.

reply

It was far from blurry and I’m not from the USA. Am exempt from copyright or piracy laws.

reply

if you think a camrip was "far from blurry" then go see an eye doctor asap. also, there's no "exempt from copyright or piracy law".

reply

Yes it was blurry lol I tried to watch the same copy and the picture and sound quality were absolutely awful....There is no way you can judge the film fairly from watching that copy.
Watch it at the cinema....It's a good film. If you liked the last one there's no real reason why you shouldn't enjoy this one...

I just can't watch camrips. Just can't. I don't know how others can though. It's like using a mechanical hdd vs a SSD or using some old GPU. It totally kills the immersion of the movie for me vs BD rips. Even horrible movies are made x5 worse with the audio, pixelation, and mostly dark scenes. It was okay back when the internet was not so fast and DVD was the best there was but this isn't he case now.

reply

True,I always wait the blu-ray version to download

reply

Very rarely, but they can be pretty decent sometimes.

reply

The KOREAN rips are usually the best cam quality

reply

Best cam rip I ever saw was The Phantom Menace. I was surprised it was filmed in a theater, it was almost DVD quality. It had some kind of Arabic subtitles or something... Whoever shot it probably knew the people who ran the theater, and was able to set up a tripod-mounted camera in the perfect spot, with no audience (or else they were silent).

reply

Meh! I'm from the US and I've been watching movies online for years. Come and get me motherfuckers!!!

reply

I haven't seen this yet, but i'm sure it's terrible. The only thing that made the first one acceptable was how great it was to have a new Jurassic Park movie. That's gone now. These new actors are no Sam Neil and Laura Dern to carry things along.

reply

The new actors are fine - it's the script and direction of the new characters that was horrible. Even semi-decent actors can shine under decent direction - and this film had pretty good comedic action stars, but the script did not complement them in any way - the few jokes this film had were subpar.

reply

Ive seen the quality on the cam-rips online. Its horrible. Watching a cam-rip is the worst way of watching a movie.
You are an idiot. Either wait for the Bluray release to download that or watch it in cinema before judging.

reply

I saw the camrip as I wasn't even planning on watching this sh_tfest at all but I just ended up doing so casually. I'm not judging the effects or anything that is affected by the quality but the story, dialogue, ect. was crap.

reply

A CAM version? Just splendid😒

reply

I have giving up on good films being made anymore, I basically go to see special effects.
