Its possible. But the movie is not getting very good reviews. Which is a pity because I thought the movie was awesome.
Maybe not the best in the series but its top tier entertainment.

WW----1.2 to 1.4 Billion(IMO closer to 1.2 B)
I think Pretty Much Big declines are coming from everywhere EXCEPT China...
I think JW2 will have a HUGE decline domestically...
I think JW2 Will Have Slight to Noticeable Declines in Most Overseas markets...
But I think JW2 Will IMPROVE In China...JW1 made 230 M....I could see JW2 making 270 to 300 M
All in All Big hit....But Franchise definitely Declining in Box office With Almost NO possibility of ever hitting the Heights JW1 did

shareIt has only been out for 38 Days and still has a few millions to go. I don't understand the renewed interest in JW and now the sequel but they are quite profitable for Universal.
Its probably just something different from a marvel/xmen/spiderman/DC movie every month.
JP has always been a money maker. Lost World used to have Opening weekend record. Even JP3 with it's poor release date, marketing, and reviews still made nearly 200M domestically that's nearly 300M adjusted for ticket pricing today. Also, nostalgia really kicks in this many years after the original.
