The movie is for everyone not just black people or black women. Yes, the movie is set around a time when racism was very high but to me it was more about women not being appreciated for all their hardwork back in the day rather black or white than just another stick it to white people movie. All the hate this movie is getting is ridiculous.

shareI'm a while male in his forties and I was worried that this movie would make white people look bad. I'm pleased that white people were favorably portrayed. My big concern would be reprisal attacks by black people who watched the movie and wanted revenge against the evil white people. I enjoyed the movie and I hope it inspires young people to pursue STEM careers.

shareI find it unlikely that a woman would be better at maths than some man, then I find it unlikely that a black person would be better at maths than some Jewish, Asian or white person. Generally speaking, I find it more likely the top mathematician would be some old white guy or a Jewish man, that is what is more likely to happen statistically speaking but there are always exceptions. I could see one black woman be really good at maths among 100 white men that are really good at maths.
shareNonsense. This movie is about rewriting history. The idea we would not have landed on the Moon without these BLACK women. If they were white, no one would care. It's their skin color that sells that strange idea that America was founded by black people. Guaranteed, if liberals had their way, all the Founding Fathers would eventually be black.
