Why is holocaust a big deal?

I think this is 1000000th movie based on holocaust. I don't understand what's the big deal?

Since the origin of the human civilization, there has been millions (if not trillions) of holocausts, mass genocides of certain group of people/race/religion. Then why is it that the Jewish holocaust *beep* has to be continued till the end of time?

Not so in distant past, there has been armenian genocide, native american genocide, mongol rampage, muslim invasion throughout asia, bengal genocide and
satan knows how many. Not so in distant past. In recorded time.

But Jewish holocaust is just most important of them all. May I ask why? Cuz they are jews? LOL. I don't hate jews but overly emphasizing the holocaust is just bitter in the long run. It's not like only Jews are considered as human beings.

People fight, people fight, people kill each other and people forget. It's a fact of life and we should accept the fact and move on.

I have no words for your ignorance of history.

Because this happened to civilized people that you can somewhat identify with. Not some strange place far off that you never heard of. These were next door neighbors.
It can happen to you.

We must never forget.

Probably 'cause there's still people alive today who lived through it or knew someone who did or died because of it, unlike those other genocides you mention. There are too far removed from our time.

Never ending aid, political leverage and concessions is why it's a big deal.

reply

Because we must never ever ever ever EVER forget.
