No. mental illness wasn't celebrated in 1984 when the character originated.

I believe the term is “androgynous”, since Gozer has no gender. “Trans” people suffer from a mental illness where they believe they’re something they’re not, which doesn’t apply to Gozer.

gozer changes genders at will, transgender is applicable.

No, it's not applicable. Transgender doesn't mean changing genders at will, it means you think you're the opposite of your biological gender.

Gozer can shape-shift, but that doesn't make it transgender, as it doesn't actually identify as the forms it takes. Its different forms are just avatars, nothing more.

Genderfluid I'd say. They even make a joke about it in the movie. "Gozer isn't a he or she". "Pretty woke for 3000 BC".

That was Olivia Wilde btw. Also J.K. Simmons played that freemason dude in the coffin. It was hard to tell.
