This isn't bad, this is a very well made movie...

but it's not made for me. I'm a mid 40s fan of the original, but i'm not appreciating any of this. I'm still in the middle bit, i'll share some more thoughts soon. But man. I'm not engaged at all. It's like a Nickelodeon Halloween movie. I hope the kids like it.

Still watching this. Having a real hard time getting through it. It's actively annoying. The constant reuse of the iconic music is what bugs me most.

I liked the iconic music from the first film being in this and the 2009 Video game.

Truly terrible. A god awful incredibly well produced film. They put money into everything except the writing. I chuckled three times, which were all Bill Murray scenes, and the only scene worth a shit was an after credit scene where you saw that him and Dana were still a couple. This movie did low box office for a reason. And my opinion after all them youtube reviews stands. Nobody wants to see a movie about kids pretending to be Ghostbusters. Some heat was given to digi-Egon, but I thought it was tastefully done.

I thought it was good. Maybe not great but def. would have made Harold Ramis (who co-wrote the original) happy, had he been around to see it.

Very well made my ass... It's stupid as fuck and boring.
It's better than 2016 but it's still crap

reply

I mean how well done the camera work is. That kind of thing.

My bad...

This movie, as many, many others, is crafted for you to go to see it with your kids. I'm in the 40's too and I don't have kids, to me the movie was just ok, I'd say it was worth the download.
