Forbes Writer Blasts New Woke-Free ‘Ghostbusters’: ‘Misogynistic Trolls Getting What They Want’

There’s something strange in the neighborhood, something weird. Hollywood may finally be learning the lesson behind that newly-minted conservative axiom – get woke, go broke. Nothing better illustrates that than Sony’s reported decision to completely shelve the 2016 box office flop that was the feminist “Ghostbusters” remake in favor of a new movie that continues the original 1980s storyline unaltered, the one where a couple of scientists save the world by creating their own business while defying the EPA.

Unsurprisingly, the woke-scolds are deeply offended by the change of plans. Writing over at Forbes, entertainment reporter Scott Mendelson denounced Sony’s decision as placating “misogynistic trolls,” because apparently, incels in their parents’ basement are to blame for the box office failure that was the 2016 feminist reboot.

More fans didn't like the 2016 Ghostbusters because they're so toxic and misogynist articles?

Yeah, that masterpiece, you really had to hate women if you skipped that one or didn't like it. One of the jokes had the male secretary taking the lenses out of his glasses because they got dirty, instead of cleaning them. What a dummy, huh! Hilarious!

Those toxic fans don't deserve a return to the original Ghostbusters!

2016 would've had the support of more Ghostbuster fans if they encouraged them to keep an open minded about the movie, but their mixed messages kept fans away and alienated other film goers by placing an emphasis on political views.

Feminism is a personality disorder.

After living long enough, you start to notice patterns in people's behavior, different sorts of "types" that people tend to fall into. Growing up having a close familiarity with personality-disordered people, I see the exact same patterns in feminist and leftist types.

The biggest one is a disregard for the truth, no matter how overwhelming the evidence. Basically arguing in bad faith. And they're not retarded, many are actually scary smart. It's more like a part of their frontal lobe is underdeveloped, so they're incapable of placing anything higher than their immediate desire (even more than most people). The depths of dishonesty to which they will sink in service of their selfish agendas, are bottomless. See quote above. This is a powerful trick because most people can't imagine thinking that way.
