John Dutton ---
Is NOT the kind of person who would kill himself
shareAGREED!! But now we know for sure that Kevin Costner did not make a deal to appear in any of these Episodes. I think they were kind of letting us wonder and think that he made a deal to do a few episodes

Wait i'm not caught up yet on the series. haven't even finished season 4 yet. Is that really how they exited the character. If so what a cop out. No way in hell would a character like john take the easy cowards way out.

You really shouldn't be here if you aren't caught up, but let me just say that things are not always as they appear.
John Dutton is NOT the kind of person who would kill himself
Naa He always came across as the strongman that would fight for what he believed
I think the public would question a suicide
AND I doubt the impeachment process to to get rid of him scared him
I think the public would question a suicide
It's all a bad dream. Costner is going to walk out of the shower in the last episode.
shareIt's basically the worst option the corporation decided on for John Dutton, heck an actual assassination would have had less suspicion.
John would never kill himself, and Montana knows it.
Beth was the only one who knew John didn't kill himself, even Kayce and Jamie didn't know for sure.
The rest of Montana only knew John Dutton for a short time, and only what they saw in news conferences. If the "corporation" left no loose threads, then even if the federales were *convinced* John didn't kill himself, they could do nothing without evidence.
Absent a royal F-up by the corporation, only Sarah can really throw a monkey wrench into the works, and to be honest, I'd be scared shitless to cross the corporation.
It will be interesting to see if or how John's murder becomes known.
