Alicia Vikander was so miscast - mid 20 year old 2nd in command of CIA??

She was just fine in her role, it was the shaky camera that was miscast.

I agree. I just came back from watching and as I said before, she made the movie unbearable.

At first I thought she was some computer geek with the Agency which was fine with me. I was quite surprised she was that high in the rankings and was very shocked when that was revealed.

Her role was poorly cast and that made me miss Pamela Landry terribly. I hope they rethink recasting that role for the next movie because she just did not do justice to that role at all.

I thought she was ok in this, but saying that I found her VERY bland...... I think she fell into the trap of people trying to put her in Joan Allens shoes for her role, when the reality is she was more a up grade of Nicky from The Bourne Identity.

Also, she was not 2nd in command at the CIA, just her unit.....which is more believable than Julia Stiles in The Bourne Idenity who is 21 and running the whole European arm of Treadtsone.......

I thought the plot twist was that she was gonna be a cyborg. BOURNE MUST FIND BOURNE IT DOES NOT COMPUTE ERROR ERROR

I liked Alicia in this movie. Would love to see her character work with Bourne if there is a next movie.

I agree, she was completely miscast. I'm not even sure it was just he age as Matt Damon was too young to play Jason Bourne in the first movie, but he did terrific and I can't picture a better Jason Bourne.
I can easily think of a dozen actresses who would have been 100 times better in the role. I haven't seen her in anything before other than Anna Karenina, but I have no recollection of her. I hope she's recast if they use her character in the next installment or better yet, let her character go to Mandy-land.
