Very good WWII film spoiled by annoying shaky-cam

Will this god-awful love for using the shaky-camera effect to try and make audiences believe they are watching something "as it happens" PLEASE GO AWAY ALREADY??!!

Every scene in this film where the actors were in anything closer than a long shot was filmed in this stupid style and it detracted from the scenes that should have kept the concentration on the drama of the story rather than having the audience's attention jarred around like a bunch of bobbleheads.

At least the film led up to action scenes at the end where at least it wasn't so painfully obvious then.

I agree. The shaky camera is distracting. This stuff might work with 'found footage' type movies or something pretending to be a documentary, but it is time this stupid fetish in movie making disappeared.
