A liberal must of written this.

Oh poor girl had a bad childhood so I'm supposed to feel sorry for her. Bull *beep* I'm so pissed that he didn't kill her too. This guy loses his sight fighting for our country then comes home and loses his daughter and these entitled little *beep* think it's ok to rob him because the world owes them and I'm supposed to root for the girl? Give me a break. Spoiler alert: I'm supposed to hate him and root for the kids because he has the girl that killed his daughter locked up? No *beep* chance. Typical entitled Hollywood bs. Bad child = blank check to be a criminal.

Many call me Liberal, generally left wing but had I written this he would have butchered the lot of them slowly over the course of 90 minutes.

Think you need to stop stereotyping fella......

Thank you! I agree. As a liberal, I definitely wouldn't have ended this movie w/that bitch Rocky getting away w/that guy's money! She'd either be dead or his new captive.

I just can't sympathize w/ppl who break into other ppl's homes.

*must HAVE
"of" is a preposition, as in "of the earth".
Sheesh.
And I think that the teens had it coming. I did not sympathize for anyone, apart from the woman who was held captive, and the main character who lost his daughter. Buuuutttt the main character could have found other ways to ease his mourning besides trying to impregnate the woman who killed his daughter.....

This thread is still going? I must have struck a nerve. Honesty will do that.

Honesty? Not so much
Trolling, now THAT instigates debate, responses and general ire.
I also don't think many people (Myself included) actually bother checking the dates on forum posts when they reply as quite frankly it's irrelevant.

Bottom line if Money doesn't go into the man's house he doesn't die. You have to be responsible for your actions. If you come into my house with a gun only one of us is making it out alive. Don't want to get shot? Don't enter someone's house illegally.

A conservative must have written this post because, like most conservatives, they don't know basic grammar! HA! STEREOTYPES!

It's 'must HAVE' not 'must of'

Jesus, no wonder American movies are getting so dumbed-down, if they have to cater for people like the OP.

At no point did the movie say anyone had to feel sorry for her. Her home life was shown as her motivation to be so desperate, and unwilling to let it go when things started to go wrong. For me, it created ambivalence as to whether I wanted her to succeed or not, which was a refreshing change. Plus, it anchors a character arc that shows her likely to get her comeuppance unexpectedly at the end.

Not every movie is grounds for a political-partisan tantrum. Give it a rest.

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
