Could Tarantino direct a Marvel movie?
And which one ? I can see him doing something like Punisher , Daredevil or Ghost Rider

shareNot a traditional one, but now that almost all the white male characters have been killed, retired or satirically altered he would be perfect for the job.
shareWell make some examples , which character could he direct and how would he do it?
shareA Tarantino Marvel movie would feature Hulk and Thor. A buddy movie. Hulk is this metrosexual sophisticated New Yorker and Thor is a drunken, fat Viking redneck. They spend most of the movie bickering and making obscure pop-culture references. Dr. Strange is out of the closet as a flaming homosexual. He has found an ancient artifact at an antique auction that is never shown, we just see a glowing box. Dr. Doom shows up to claim it and our hapless heroes try to stop him with farcical results. Black Panther and Falcon/New Black Captain America have to show up with Valkyrie/New Black Female Thor and Captain Marvel to show their pathetic White male asses how to get the job done. Hulk has a foot fetish and is constantly trying to give Captain Marvel a foot massage.
shareCertainly those three characters are right in his wheelhouse, but if there is any one Marvel property that screams Tarantino it's Heroes for Hire. I would love to see his take on Power-Man and Iron Fist in a film set in the mid-'70s, the era in which the comic took place.
No such film will ever happen, of course, but I'd like to think that in one of the alternate realities created by quantum time-jumping, audiences are enjoying a Phase 4 of MCU films that includes that and a Fantastic Four film set in 1961 with John Hamm, in all his Mad Man glory, as Reed Richards. One can dream.
It would be amazing if they made a separate MCU set in the 60's-70's-80's , so many great characters so many great stories to tell
shareI’d like to see him take a crack at Sub-Mariner.
shareI don't think so. Tarantino is a great director, but Superhero films isn't in his genre, and I am not sure he could make the leap.
shareHe'd probably direct something more fitting for the obscure underground part of the MCU, like the Netflix shows. Something without coorporate mandated limitations.
shareI sincerely hope not
shareI think the only Marvel characters I would want him to make a movie of are Daredevil and Punisher.
