MINDBLOWING *spoilers*
*Loki's death: some might say that it was necessary because (for now) there won't be any more Thor movies, so he's not needed and that's why they killed him off in the first 10 minutes but I have to say I respectfully disagree. I did not appreciate that.
*Stark's banter with Doctor Strange: I thought it was genius to have them be the first to meet, it really set the tone for me and it was much more entertaining than when Thor met Strange (plus it was hilarious) and I loved how they constantly kept going back and forth which later on (I think) contributed to Strange saving Stark's ass but that also could be because it was in fact the only way they could've "won". Speaking of that theory, a lot of people online and a couple of friends did bring it up, that it could be that one odd that Strange saw when he went ahead in time and while I'm quite the fan of that theory I just don't see how it could possibly set things right again.
Also, Stark's new suit is the best thing ever and I'm obsessed.
*Spiderman in space: I loved the addition of his new suit but I don't think they showed it's potential enough during the fight scenes which was a little meh for me and it was the only downside.
*Unexpected "deaths": while I think it was a poor choice to kill off Loki in the beginning, it was an even bigger disappointment when they killed off Gamora, since there is another Guardians movie coming, so I don't know how that will be executed without her and it was established that her death was certain and there's no comeback. Vision's death didn't really hit it for me because he is a robot and they might be able to fix him.
Winter Soldier, Black Panther, Spiderman, all of the Guardians, Strange, Scarlet Witch, Nick Fury and Maria Hill all turned into ashes but its very clear that they will be making a comeback in the next movie which everyone knows. It felt like it was quite randomized between the ones that disintegrated and the ones that didn't which didn't really make sense to me.
I find it a little frustrating leaving the movie theater and not being able to put the pieces together which was their(Marvel) intention in the first place.
Overall, this movie was great. It was very well-balanced and we got some iconic moments between the characters which was all I cared about if I'm being honest, and it was a change of pace to have evil prevail and to not have a satisfying ending for that I give this movie a solid 4.5/5 stars.
