Solo or Captain Marvel

Solo: 3/10
Cpt Marvel: 4/10

Neither are good. Both have cool parts. Both could easily be skipped.

Captain Marvel for me.

I didn't hate Solo, I just found the movie baffling that they portrayed him as an utter fool where he barely got anything right.

Solo had to juggle too many relationships. Han and Chewy, Han and Qira, Han and Lando, Han and Beckett, Beckett and Val, Landa and L337, Qira and Dryden etc, yikes its just too much.

CM kept it simpler. CM is also the fresher film in my mind so theres that. Both were fun for its nostalgia. Both had action mixed with boring parts. But I feel CM's buddy cop subplot helped more in those boring parts. But again its the fresher film.

Solo

Going to have to say Solo for sure.

Captain Marvel.

Solo was a pile of boring crap focusing on the wrong characters.

Solo at least had a somewhat likable protagonist. Captain Marvel dosen't. So yeah, Solo better by default.

Both films hit the 'it was ok' mark for me - though I think Captain Marvel is probably ahead in my eyes when you consider that Solo should have been more interesting in the end but wasn't.
