Or your examination of one or two theaters is not representative of the entire world?
For what it's worth, on January 7th, when tickets were released, I went to the closest theater to buy tickets, and both shows were nearly sold out. Only lousy seats remained. I went to the mall and found that the earlier shows were similarly full, and bought two tickets to the 11:05pm showing.
Just accept that Marvel has made another great film, no one gives a shit about what Brie Larson said about A Wrinkle in Time, and that the film has no agenda or message beyond superhero-ing. It's a really great movie. Buy some popcorn and enjoy it, and quite whining about the world around you. Life's too short to waste whining on the internet, especially about non-existent problems.
