What did Hawk find inside the restroom door?
Who was the woman killed by the midget assassin? Was she pertinent to the story, or just a target he chose instead of Dougie, thus sparing Dougie for another day?
Was Dougie drawing some kind of a map on those insurance papers?
His boss seemed to decipher some meaning to the scribbles, but what was the meaning?
I really need to re-watch season 1 and 2. I watched it at the time it was originally aired (we had Twin Peaks watching parties!) but not since then and a lot of the little details have escaped my leetle grey cells
Also the laura palmer diaries (I only read bits and pieces at a friend's house).
and Fire walk with me (I only saw half of it)
and there is some 'missing pieces' movie apparently, that I never even heard of?
The book is dope. I haven't got too far into reading it yet but i think it would be much appreciated by anyone who considers themselves a twin peaks fan. Im loving it.
His boss saw 'Dougie' had been pointing out the fraud being perpetrated by the other staff member at the meeting, who he accused of lying. He was joining the 'dots' which made the fraud evident.
Ahhh thanks! The glowing dot was directing Dougie where to draw on the papers, kind of like that glowing flame was directing him which slot machines to play. It's like his guardian spirit or something, helping him out in many places. So he is channeling some kind of messages or guidance from another plane. What do you think that 'force' is?
It's portrayed as something outside of himself, glowing dots and glowing flame.
Something that is guiding him and he doesn't even know himself what it is.
What 'detective skills" let someone know which slot machine is about to give a jackpot?
or magically MAKES it give a jackpot?
Yeah, maybe some missing pages of Laura Palmer's diary. Either that or notes made by Cooper, which he hid there in case he never returned from the Red Room?

Wasn't she the woman who rang Argentina in Episode 5, after believing that Dougie had been blown up in his car ...which triggered that black box to turn into a silver bead?

I think she was because she had failed to get Dougie assassinated, hence she too had to be assassinated (as punishment). This would be the 3rd assassination attempt on Dougie/Cooper, and as we have seen, the ice pick dwarf is pretty ruthless so let's see how Dougie get's away from him. But yes for sure the fact that he first kills the 'woman' in the picture has bought Dougie a bit of time, but not too much because the ice picker knows where he works, so I expect he will go there next episode.

Yes I think he was drawing steps and ladders to link the discrepancies made by the 'corrupt' agent, ie, Dougie's colleague from last episode. The boss just put two and two together I guess.
In the first episode Log Lady called Hawk and told him that something is missing and he has to find it. It is about agent Cooper. She then said that the way Hawk will find it has something to do with his heritage.
When Hawk was in the bathroom, he dropped the coin and noticed that it has an indian head on it. He then noticed the sign on the toilet door with the same head. That's when he became suspicious and decided to tear down the door to look inside.
So, according to the Log Lady's vision, the paper he found has something to do with agent Cooper (maybe written and hidden by him)

Thanks!
I did get the process of how Hank found it, both the coin and the hinge had Indian heads on them and I got the link to Log Lady's message. I just couldn't figure out what the papers in the door actually were.
I've been postponing rewatching FWWM, but it seems the movie has many clues that are essential for understanding the 3rd season. I suppose Laura wrote this in her secret diary.
Update: I rewatched FWWM, and you're right. Laura did write about Cooper in her diary. The hidden papers could be pages from Laura's diary where she wrote about her visions and mentions Annie's cryptic message about agent Cooper.
What's funny about that scene is that Laura isn't fazed at all when she looks over and sees a bloody Annie suddenly in bed next to her, but when she glances away for a moment and looks back to see her gone, she gasps in shock and alarm.
Janey-E's scene with the shylocks, where she verbally bitch-slaps them all around the playground, is one of the best scenes so far in this series.
I really like what seems to have become a signature: the musical credits in the Bang Bang Bar. I wasn't aware of Lynch's affinity for music (in some ways, apparently similar to John Carpenter's) until recently. I'd bet that he likes The Velvet Underground as much as I do, especially if Nico is fronting.
And what ROCKS🎸 is that Lynch always gives the band time to play the whole song!!
The music is typically one of the best parts of a Lynch show, whether it's there for atmosphere or other purposes. In the last episode he used it effectively to identify Lorraine so people would know who was being murdered.
Laura looks more surprised when Annie is gone than when she appeared, bloodied, lying beside her in bed. But she gasps in shock only when she opens her fist and sees the owl ring in it.
I was sort of lumping the aftermath together. The bed going back to normal and the ring were both more shocking to her than the sudden appearance of a bloody woman in her bed talking to her.
