shareI remember people getting grossed out when Shelly was kissing an old man (David Lynch)... but now that I'm older it seems way worse that she was kissing those losers than an FBI agent in his forties. Same thing with the smoker sitting alone at the club... he was better looking than the guy in the car, but if he were wearing a hoodie with his college typing on a laptop... those girls wouldn't have given him a second look. It's all about the bad boy image and I'm sure Lynch, even with the Wally Brando character is mocking women that fall for that type.
