That one was quite disturbing to me. I have seen quite some over-the-top gore horror movies but this one really made me say "Oh *beep*" out loud. I think a lot of it had to do with his screams and the fact we don't see what happens when it happens. What do you think?
shareThe build up plus the fact that there is no serious gore prior to that (the girl is already dead with the knife in her head and it's a pretty "clean" kill). Add on his screams of agony and the band's shock and it was best "hotdamn!" moment for me in the whole movie.

I saw this movie for the first time 4 days ago and that scene is still bouncing around in my head disturbing me and bothering me.
What an incredibly well put together oh *beep* moment.
One of the people I was watching it with had to put their hands over their eyes. It was too much for them, they couldn't handle looking at it.
I take my hat off to the people that made that happen.
I agree but it was the shot of them slitting open that big guy's stomach after choking him out that ended up haunting me.
shareArm scene was good - felt tangible and realistic with the acting and FX.
I was expecting the gruesome tension to mount from there and it didn't really, so I found that a little disappointing. But the film was good overall.
