the ending to tonight's episode made no sense

the baron goes from the shock of what happened to his wife to all of a sudden being at the right place at the right time to witness m.k.'s transformation? unless i'm missing something, that just oozes of very poor writing.

This is one of those foolish complaints you (unfortunately) see a lot of on discussion boards, where if the person had given thirty seconds of real thought to the matter first they wouldn't have bothered posting it.

Quinn wasn't really "shocked" over Jade's health, more pissed that his first wife would undermine his authority and rights (and the implication that she did so with Beatrice who she did murder). Remember, he's a control freak suffering from a brain tumor. He doesn't care about anyone but himself and his power. He was sooooo concerned over his son Ryder possibly dying that he took Jade to bed. Quinn, despite suffering from a brain tumor is a very cunning and shrewd man. There is little he does not know that is going on in his own fort and often beyond, and Sunny has been very weird and untrustworthy lately:

1. Not killing the doctor and his wife on orders (you think Quinn didn't know Sunny was with Veil?). That was a loyalty test, and Sunny failed.

2. Sunny took a colt. For the first time ever. And a colt that the Widow was looking for (as established in the pilot), broke into Ryder's room, escaped, and was brought to the fort again by Sunny who wants him as a colt, his first ever colt. ODD!

3. Sunny didn't want to meet up again with that old lover, a clipper of another baron.

4. Sunny and Veil are pregnant.

5. Sunny didn't look keen to torture Talia as Quinn commanded.

That's just a few. Sunny has been dodgy and cagey and flat out deceptive and secretive. I think Quinn went down there to check on Sunny following his orders and just happened to see MK's transformation.

I keep my expectations low -- then I can be pleasantly surprised. You're fouling up my chi 👀
