I noticed that the picture was dark for the whole movie when I saw it. I just thought it was the movie theater where I live. I live in a small town. The town I live in and all the smaller towns in a 50 mile radius is about 10,000-15,000 people. So we don't have that great of a movie theater. It's definitely no IMAX. Not even one of those fake IMAX. It's actually none of the big theater chains either. So I thought it was just the movie theater and the screen and projections it had, and that if I went to a much bigger town/city (especially one with an IMAX) the picture quality would be better. Mainly the brightness. Sounds like it's a common problem for all over.
Hopefully they correct it for Blu-Ray. Kind of like what they did for the opening fight scene in Black Panther. Couldn't see crap when I saw it in theaters. I got it on Blu-Ray and watched it on both my laptop and HDTV and I could see things A LOT better on both screens.
