So it seems that not only Rotten Tomatoes plays the "I'm gonna fake the scores" game.
That's disappointing. I rated it 1 star just yesterday.

shareThis is exhausting to read. You're right of course and I think those complaining are only pretending not to understand why IMDB would shut off the ratings for a film like this prior to release. I think it's pretty clear they don't do that for all movies because all movies don't have an army of "fanboys" claiming to love or hate a movie before seeing it. That type of idiocy is reserved mostly for Hollywood blockbusters, particularly superhero and sci-fi films.
