Penelope Cruz gave a great performance

She was great. That scene early in the film where she visits her son's grave in particular stood out. The camera is just on her face, and she doesn't speak, but you see the range of different emotions she's feeling. Maybe the only time she smiled the whole movie.

She was the only good thing in this and I thought Woodley was miscast. The only entertaining thing left that anyone would care about was the race, which seemed off as well. Not many cars. Not much action. Heck after the crash they show Dempsey collecting his win. They didn't even show him actually win it. The editing was weird. I didn't like it at all.

For sure. I love both the performance and this version of Cruz. She's only getting sexier as she gets older. Little rougher around the edges, little bitchy and mean. Mmmhmmm. Suits her.
