Was Daniel alive or just a figment of Strand's imagination?

?

The extended preview for next week shows Daniel, burned and limping, evading walkers as he makes his way across an urban area. So yeah, he's real. We didn't actually see him die in season 2. If you don't see them die or run into them as zombies, they're still out there somewhere. I want to know how Madison breaks the news that they lost Ofelia (assuming he doesn't find her before that).

Oh ok, good.

Well, by your logic, Travis could still be alive. He could have landed on some cushy platform created by the guys that shot the helicopter, and he could be recovering as we speak, since we don't actually see Travis die.

However, his death was confirmed in The Talking Dead, so what you say is not always the case. People actually die offscreen and I believe that's the case with Travis and Chris.

No. Travis had a bleeding neck wound when he fell out of the helicopter. Oh, and he was bitten multiple times in the lower abdomen when he fought the walkers in their little fight club pit. He was dead no matter what. His plan was to see his family to safety first, that's the only reason he bothered taking the helicopter ride.

Chris could always be brought back into the show, since all we have is the visualization of a story told by two very sleazy and dishonest guys.

Ofelia was last seen taken prisoner by Jeremiah Otto. She may be closer than they think.
