I believe that the OP is thinking if parts of the filming is an actual monkey, superimposed onto the screen, ya know, how stuff was done before this cr@ppy, fake CGI.
No, every shot of Kong is CGI and they still haven't managed to figure out mass and inertia and gravity and a whole bunch of other things, so the film looks like a cartoon.
