shareAgree. I want to like this film, because I like her, and many of her films in which she acted, and I love France, and the underlying idea behind the story.
I just don't see - in the trailer - much of any acting going on. Then again, some of my favorite films have ZERO acting, so I'll wait and see how the reviews stack up.
But not optimistic.

exactly to many critics not enough love - its very slow moving and i guess when you quiet yourself down light a spliff - it comes together nicely - forget about who they are in the real world and just imagine

Whatever the talent involved, I agree: why on earth would anyone want to sit through a film that looks to be about nothing but misery and ennui?

Movies cost $20 where you live? They didn't even cost that much when I lived in Los Angeles. You have my sympathies.
shareFilms can be about more than just 'entertainment', though... Whether THIS is, is another matter, but it's not always the only goal... If you want popcorn, then you stick to blockbusters.

The couple in this film is as far as any 'income-subsidized' couple living in your neighborhood. They are wealthy, refined, and don't display their emotions in public. But if your view outside your window is an 'income-subsidized' building, I suggest you watch this movie, as the gorgeous Malta scenery is as different a view as you can get.

That's because there's hardly a plot to begin with. Mostly it's just Angelina looking depressed and Brad acting like a miserable drunk. Not exactly a fun film to watch.
