Hanks and the "Comic Relief" spoiled the movie.

I'm so tired of the Tom Hanks sneer that I could just screem. He is not a serious actor. He's a bafoon in a J.C.Penny suit and tie. The comic relief in this movie along with Hanks was an insult to the seriousness of the circumstance at the time. Spielberg and Hanks make a mockery of history.

So true. Spielberg is just a child trying to make serious movies, and fail time and time again.
