I remember watching the first Phantasm back in the early 90's in the UK, I was no older than 5 (don't ask) With the last film out in 1998 I got the boxset a decade later and watch them all at least three times a year, I love them! Just curious to know the ages of all the fans out there, I'm hitting 30 in July and hoping to see the new movie before then!

share40 here. Saw the first one in 1984, when I was 8. Been a fan ever since. Sure, the CGI and other effects were a bit coarse, especially in this day and age, but when you're dealing with a series like this that's been around for nearly 40 years, and has always had a small budget, I think it would have heavily detracted from the film if it were more polished.

The first one was scary as hell to me as a kid. Discovered the rest many years later (in the '90s, I think) and enjoyed them for the fun action romp that they are. Anxiously awaiting Ravager.
I used to have a Phantasm comic signed by Bannister, Coscarelli, and Scrimm. Sold it in a massive comic book collection sale a few years ago. I really regret letting it go.
41 this year. Saw the trailer of "Phantasm 3" on VHS when I was 15 (1990) and was hooked forever. Love at first sight.

48 years old. I remember watching the original on HBO or something, fell in love with the movie, been watching it ever since. Just watched Ravager and liked it. Not nearly as much as the original but it was closure for me in that Angus got to reprise his role one last time...this is the end for me even if they do come out with more. Phantasm is only Phantasm with Angus as the Tall Man
