I remember watching the first Phantasm back in the early 90's in the UK, I was no older than 5 (don't ask) With the last film out in 1998 I got the boxset a decade later and watch them all at least three times a year, I love them! Just curious to know the ages of all the fans out there, I'm hitting 30 in July and hoping to see the new movie before then!

20 years, Dad showed the first film to us (he's 55), Brother got me into it, he's 18. Watched all of the films last year with brother. Dad has only seen first one.

shareI remember seeing The Gate (1987) in the theatre and then on VHS not that long after. I finally watched The Gate II: Trespassers (1990) sometime around 2K3 to 2K8, but didn't much care for it.
Supposedly it [The Gate (1987)] is being remade: The Gate 3D.

43 here. Saw the first film in the early 80s. I've only ever seen it and the first sequel. "The Ball Is Back!" Love it.

Was out of school for a bit after get my tonsils out a couple years back, and marathonin' Phantasm while all loopy on pain killers was an amazing (although bizarre) experience.
46--I have seen the first two parts in the past year and have loved them, and will see parts 3, 4 and 5 when I can find the DVDs or blus for a good price.
