The 2 main stars are not attractive...that's a problem.

I know they say this movie will be popular with girls but they casted 2 unattractive people..especially the male.

cara's eyebrows are weird..they're way too thick.

It's much like Nick and Norah's infinite playlist when it was liked by critics but didn't exactly light up the box office since it only made 33M in the end. It too had unattractive stars like Michael Cera and Kat Dennings..it was lucky the budget was only 10M

I disagree. Cara Delevigne looked quite cute in the movie. She's pretty enough to get attention and smart and enigmatic enough to make people want to be her friend or to fall in love with her. Lacey may have been more conventionally attractive but I think the unconventional way Margo looked was what made her the more interesting, more popular girl.

I TOTALLY disagree about Nat Wolff, he's super super adorable. I kept thinking throughout the movie how crazy it was that girls didn't talk to him. He's so freaking cute its ridiculous! I can't imagine girls not being interested in him. If he went to my high school I would've 100% had a crush on him.

I kinda agree with you... and that's one of the reasons why I found the movie pretty bad.

Nate Wolff isn't a bad actor, I found him okay in Stuck in Love, and he's okay in there too, given the material, but that's it, girls are gonna find him cute, dudes are gonna think he's bland because he doesn't have enough charisma to play anything intense, and he doesn't have that "cool" factor John Cusack had in the 80s.

Cara Delevingne's problem isn't her eyebrows, whether we like it or not. I don't mind, personally, since I find Lily Collins gorgeous. No, Delevingne's problem is that she lacks charisma. Painfully. With her and the bad writing, the movie's attempt to make her feel Q's fascination towards Margo is an epic failure. Penny Lane in Almost Famous, yes. Sam in The Perks, yes. Her ? Didn't feel a thing.

Some say that Shailene Woodley would have been better in that part. Granted, Woodley is an infinitely better actress (anyway, to me, Delevingne is more of an eccentric brat/fashionista who wants to do something more meaningful with her life than being photographed by paparazzi and having "Bacon" tattooed on her foot). BUT Woodley wouldn't have fit the role, because Margot needed a charismatic AND beautiful actress.

Well, I like them both.

Margo was good looking but she was supposed to be mean and hard edged, not sweet looking like Lacey. Quentin was supposed to be geeky looking since he never had a girl. So the casting was believable to me.

Wow, that's incredibly shallow.

I agree that Nat Wolfe isn't a very appealing or good-looking guy, however, I have always loved Cara Delevingne's look. It's very unique. I think she's quite pretty.

Hope changes everything.
