The 2 main stars are not attractive...that's a problem.

I know they say this movie will be popular with girls but they casted 2 unattractive people..especially the male.

cara's eyebrows are weird..they're way too thick.

It's much like Nick and Norah's infinite playlist when it was liked by critics but didn't exactly light up the box office since it only made 33M in the end. It too had unattractive stars like Michael Cera and Kat Dennings..it was lucky the budget was only 10M

I really wonder who you consider to be attractive, since apparently a supermodel isn't good enough for you.

reply

Not all supermodels are pretty, case in point why some attractive women can't make it as models but while I don't think she's pretty I don't think she's ugly either. It depends on what picture you are looking at to me. Hence on the cover of Vogue she was gorgeous but in this pic: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2863731/Cara-Delevingne-bloated-walk-Victoria-s-Secret-claims-male-model.html Not so much.

I know- cara really isn't that good looking. She's not a lingerie model, she's a high fashion model. Big difference. She's not hot enough to do lingerie modeling- she's too awkward and boyish.

Nat Wolff is a pretty attractive guy, very good looking actually (still can't believe he didn't get Spider-Man) and she's pretty but those eyebrows are effed up! Frida Kahlo almost

reply

Cara is certainly attractive. Everybody loves Shailene Woodley who is not nearly as attractive.

reply

I know right. Cara is too ugly but Shailene is gorgeous???

I'm sorry that this was such an issue for you. Personally, I like when movies use actors that probably wouldn't generally be considered to be oh-so-hot. It shows that you don't have to look like a supermodel to be desired, sought after or attractive. Sort of like what Fifty Shades of Grey did by casting Dakota Johnson. Beauty is subjective, though, so... what one may consider to be "average-looking" can be found as "hot" to the other.

I actually find Cara Delevingne to be gorgeous and very attractive. He eyebrows are quite heavy, however, they're her trademark and they're what help give her that interesting look. I like it.

As for Nat Wolff, he's just okay. He's not ugly but he's just as average-looking as Ansel Elgort.

I think her off screen personality is a bit of a turn off to me. Her eyebrows are just distracting. I think they both together are not big enough names to bring in the $. Has nothing to do with their attractiveness. Also the book, while it's published by a major publisher I wouldn't call it a BIG book either. I am a book blogger and this book has been talked about very little in my book world and I publish reviews. The book is more of an audience for young teenagers and they are not seeing movies, let alone in summer. Small audience.

She is a smart, pretty and a talented girl.
And her eyebrows are to repel people like you, just like the roses having spines.

I tend to focus on the storyline and what the character is going through rather than fixating on their looks. I would imagine you would miss out on the message of the movie if you just concentrated on how the actors look. There's just so much more to take away from a movie than that.

reply

Well, Cara is a supermodel. So that's a major flaw in your argument.

reply

That doesn't mean she's that hot! Good god. She looks like a teenage boy. How is that hot? She's just a model, not a lingerie model. She's not that good looking.

reply

Huh? I think that Cara Delevigne is very attractive!

Amanda Bynes is hot and Lindsay Lohan is not.
