Film poster - she isn't a sex object, of course!!
Hypocrisy rules....women play the sex game when it suits them?
And the 'actresses' were cast for their acting talent, naturally?

THIS 4 YEAR OLD TURD ISNT EXACTLY A GOOD EXAMPLE OF ANYTHING.
shareShe's holding an axe, so she's empowered.
shareDoes it really matter and bother you all THAT much though?
shareOn second though, yeah, we, human beings, rightly or wrongly, more former than latter, DO give meanings to these things no less, and arguably more, than we do to violence and killings and in America especially but also Europe with first language as English, we tend to recognize a matter like this even in and for fiction, more than we do of other violence and give it meanings and importance. Or maybe humanity ALWAYS did, however imperfect, our world is.
On the other hand, given how this movie has a 2.7 rating and mostly negative reviews, what is being discussed here maybe isn't all that important OR it could be something that stands out at least in theory.
And like it or not, it seems like we live in a CYCLE of such discussions concerning men and women, objectification, feminism, sexuality, empowerment etc.
no matter how we talk or pretend to think or say or legislate, the reality of procreative sex will always rebalance our reality in the end.
no lgbtq or trans or me too or rape culture or feminism or any agendas will ever change women's drive to make babies, and mens drive to help that happen for them.
case closed, and NEXT!
Or internet. Or movies. Or human emotions. Or reality. Or modern world. Or our digital age. Or religion. Or human imagination, minds and psychology. Or even you and me. Right?
shareTo quote a Kraftwerk song - "I don't want to be your sex object. I've had enough, and that's a fact." From their 1986 album "Electric Cafe" - "Sex Object".
