killing birds in not funny
Have no idea why Hollywood thinks killing animals or birds is funny. Happens often. I will never watch this show again.

shareOh, it's funny.
You just lack a sense of humour.
You're right. It's not funny. It's HILARIOUS.
Also just a regular part of my day to day life. I prefer to poison at least a couple of the winged bastards every day.
I got my inspiration from Tom Lehrer's Poisoning Pigeons in the Park. Great tune.
Don't let the dead bird feathers hit you on the ass on your way out, now.
I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.
Hope that the OP doesn't watch shows where they pretend to kill people instead of animals

forget it - too many to list
We all know it wasn't a real bird. In saying that, I thought it was hilarious. The best scene in the episode. We could see it coming the bird getting sucked into the cleaner, but wasn't expecting it to be spat out... Couldn't stop laughing... BTW I am an animal lover... The bird wasn't real, so I don't know what the big deal is.
shareI don't think any of those are sitcoms. Do any of them feature a bit where the entire joke is simply "hey, we just murdered a bird for no reason, isn't that hilarous". Most of these characters on modern sitcoms are very disturbed and twisted. It's not funny or creative, it's just sick.
sharewe just murdered a birdDo you have any idea just how insane that sentence is? Murder? A bird? On a silly sitcom?
Most of these characters on modern sitcoms are very disturbed and twisted.Oh the irony is thick
OP, get a grip on reality. There are plenty of movies where animals died and it was truly hilarious. Example: Christmas Vacation where aunt's cat is electrocuted while chewing Christmas lights underneath the living room chair. One of the funniest scenes in that film.
You types act like the shows/movies are trying to encourage the killing of animals. When in fact, most of the time the humor is elevated because it was simply an accident. And that is what is so funny. The death was an accident. How it happened was what was funny. the fact it is a movie is what allows us to see the humor. Sure, I would be sad if my bird or cat died. However, for those looking in who actually have a sense of humor, they can see the humor in how the unfortunate event took place. Another example from the Vacation series. In the original Vacation movie that stinker aunt Edna's demon dog died because Chevy Chase's character "Clark" forgot to untie the dog from the bumper of the car. Now taken at face value that is horrifying. But taken in context of the movie up to that point, knowing the dog was a pos mean animal, Aunt Edna hated Clark and enjoyed making him miserable, and being able to empathize with Clark in that situation, made it a very funny scene.
If people like you could gain the ability to relax and not let every little thing that comes close to offending you get you so riled up our society would be much better off. And so would you. Life is short. Don't waste it getting your panties in a wad over spilled milk.

Don't forget about the episode of Boy Meets World.
shareThen don't watch Walt Disney's "Old Yeller". You'll be even more appalled by that.
Hollywood has an ongoing war on men and anything masculine, they think destroying men's lives is funny (just look at this show's intro - a man being thrown out of his home by a giant woman's hand, thrown out by the neck like a dog - "hilarity!"), but sucking an animated bird in a vacuum, that's where you draw the line?
shareyou are right. killing birds is not funny. killing birds in a comical manner is funny
