Anyone else noticed this new ABC show that's going to air soon on ABC? Stereotypes galore with the extra heavy accents that will probably get picked up for another season.
I think America will feel more comfortable watching this silly extreme caricature portayal of Asians rather than a smart intelligent show such as Selfie.
Fresh all the boat was hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing.
shareI am enjoying Fresh Off the Boat. It makes me laugh and reminds me a bit of Everybody Hates Chris (but not quite as good). I still think Selfie was much better and I'm a little surprised that Fresh Off the Boat is doing so much better than Selfie did.
The only thing I can think is that people judged the show (Selfie) by the title and the pilot without really giving it a chance.
Obviously Selfie wasn't perfect, but I definitely think it had more substance and engaging storyline than Fresh Off the Boat, which is really just a fairly shallow comedy with not much to it.
