When will disney make a lesbian princess?
More girls are lesbian now days so the straight girl thing is outdated way much. They need to ne more progressive with they're are concepts.

shareFirst of all, homosexuals total roughly 2% of the population. That's not a number that makes it worthwhile - at the box office - to center a movie on a gay hero(ine).
Secondly, the above was just informational. It's irrelevant to the more important question: Why should Disney or any company showcase and promote immorality?
Some estimates are at 2%. I've seen higher estimates.

And who will they market this too? 2% of the population? A film like that would be an enormous flop. Homosexuality is not tolerated outside of liberal western culture and even in Europe it is just "tolerated", nobody there is going to line up to see a film like that.
sharethen society is dead and i feel like killing myself
shareIt's getting better, isn't it? I think we'll see LGBTQ main characters in animation someday because someday, it's just not going to be a big deal. Clearly, we're not there yet, but it is better than it was even a few years ago.
That other poster asked who would come. In addition to the portion of the population that is LGBTQ (which is more than 2%), there's all the people connected to them who care about them: the parents, siblings, cousins, children, best friends, etc....
We'll miss you when you're gone.
No, seriously.
Everything has to pander to representations of social political groups nowadays.
Storytelling be damned.
I don't think that's true. In any case, the OP simply wants to see an animated film that reflects her reality. Can't you understand that desire? It doesn't mean every film, but one, at least, would be nice. I think it'll happen someday.
shareI don't know. I've never had a desire to see white or black representation in Asian action movies either.
Its a fine line of coming off as political pandering, which can take me out of a movie.
And when is Marvel going to do a gay superhero?

When hell freezes over or, hopefully, later.
If you want movies with lesbian princesses, do what Walt Disney did and spend your life building an entertainment empire that gives you the freedom to make exactly the kind of films you want to see.
Too much work? Well, it's always easier to demand a piece of someone else's pie than it is to bake your own, isn't it?
