How come sing is outperforming moana

Sing is on track to surprass moana as early as next week in domestic gross and sing could outgross moana internationally as well.

How come audiences responded more to sing than to moana?

This is coming from someone who liked both movies (though loved moana more).

Well... I particularly like Sing the best, despite seeing both movies. What struck me more about Moana was the flawless animation, whilst Sing it was both the animation and development of stories.

I actually thought Sing was rather subpar as far as the animation itself. I mean, it wasn't bad or anything, there was just nothing special about it.

Great, that's your opinion, and I respect it.

Who cares as long as It's great, and It Is. Top marks everywhere. It's visually stunning In every regard. The story Is pretty good as well. Characters likable, developed. I'm impressed. Sing was forgettable In so many areas except the visuals. That doesn't cut It for me unless the visuals are something I've never witnessed.
