There was a lot of other causalities from them female led action films tanking. Bummer. It was almost a genre wave for a hot minute. Always wished Rebeca Romijn's Mystique had gotten a solo film. The spy thriller you could tell with her, all the superhero physicality and Mission Impossible face swapping shenanigans is built right in. But this would have been cool too.
