How do you figure?
I didn't see a lot of pro-USSR sentiment in the trailer.
All the important aspects of the US are socialist.
School
Military
Transportation
Farming
Human services
Healthcare Emergencies
etc.
The side nonsense stuff that doesn't really matter is capitalist.
Rofl.
You conflate socialism with social services. Ignorance.
Want to live in socialism? Buy a one ticket to NK and let us deal with capitalism. Bye bye.
No bro, socialism is where you plan the economy and services to avoid corruption from the randomness of capitalism.
Having school be socialist driven avoids parents having to "haggle" about the cost of fourth grade. There is no sale of it because that would create a disaster.
airlines and trains are heavily funded to keep them in business, because they are good for the economy, but can't survive on their own.
Military is the same as schools, in that you can't fuck around.
Hospitals are legally required to treat people, once again to avoid chaos, violence, etc. However, people in the country do not have enough money to pay, so the government backs up whatever loses happen.
Socialism is SOCIAL SERVICES, retard.
Retard, social services are NOT socialism. Social services are services that benefit the whole of society and so the society should take care and control them. Social services are not individual but social, what a surprise. As opposed to private business. And it's funny because you just listed the reasons why are those social services and how they actually benefit the society, not just the individual.
Socialism is about production and individuals. As an individual in socialism you are not allowed to own your own business, or production line, no matter how small.
Education, health care, public transportation ARE social services. NOT socialism. you are deeply misinformed and ignorant. And a retard for not accepting these simple things.
Get a book, read. Maybe even read about Otto von Bismark: the one that has introduced the concept of welfare and social security in the modern society, ironically as means to fight of socialists.
Farmers are paid to not grew crops at certain times. They are paid to do nothing, paid to grow certain things.
You do not own a hospital. You do not own an army. There is no owner of Amtrak
I hate people who don't know anything and arrogantly think they do.
The US has a MIXED ECONOMY it's a fact.
Do you know what capitalism even is? We don't have that at all.
"Farmers are paid to not grew crops at certain times." still they own the land and the business is theirs. NOT socialism.
"You do not own a hospital. " really? In USA you do: https://www.beckershospitalreview.com/lists-and-statistics/22-investor-owned-hospital-companies-to-know.html
"You do not own an army." that's why is called a socialized service. And because all citizens of the country benefit from the public army - just like education or hospitals. Btw, there are private "armies" as well https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_military_company.
"I hate people who don't know anything and arrogantly think they do." you should hate your self.
We do have capitalism, but regulated. Socialism doesn't allow capitalism or mixed economy in it's structures.
Only idiotic socialism defenders like yourself argue against that
Capitalism: "an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state."
Socialism: "The term socialism refers to any system in which the production and distribution of goods and services is a shared responsibility of a group of people. Socialism is based upon economic and political theories that advocate for collectivism. In a state of socialism, there is no privately owned property."
Army, healthcare, education are neither industry neither trade. Are you capable to understand the difference?
read, educate yourself.

pretty funny that almost only americans argue "social services = socialism". And ofcourse people like bernie that lies that "Nordic Model is socialism" while the swedes themselves say "we are capitalist".

I hate your type of person.
You can take literally SECONDS and google "socialist aspects of the US" and find MANY articles explaining what I briefly said, but you won't.
Instead, you just use your "imagination" and think you are right, yet make a fool out of yourself because you are wrong. However, you will not see yourself as a fool, because you will ignore facts and just keep going.
People like you are some kind of unidentified insane person.
You are confusing certain aspects of the U.S. government with socialism, and at the same time pointing out the aspects that do resemble socialism but probably shouldn't.
I personally believe the U.S. would be much better off were it to eliminate most of the government-run enterprises and social services. Currently, most Americans pay over half of what the earn back to the government in the form of local, state, and federal taxes, as well as hidden taxes like gas taxes, parking meters, utility taxes, and so on. If we eliminated all those taxes, and let the government subsist solely on corporate taxes, the result would be an overnight 100+% pay raise for everyone.
I think that rather than funneling tax money through the bloated, corrupt, and largely unregulated government, we're better off keeping that money in the private sector. No more public education, no more social security, no more DMV-- privatize it all and set strict, heavily-enforced rules to insure fairness.
We had no welfare system or federal tax for most of American history and did fine. Individuals, charities, and churches will always take care of society's less fortunate, especially with more money in the pockets of individuals. That's how it was before, and it worked, and worked better than things do today.
Private schools provide better educations and outcomes than public schools, yet it costs the government more in tax dollars to send a child through public school than it does a parent to send one through private school. Cut out the middle man. Same with all the other state-run disasters.
If you got service at McDonald's like you get at the DMV, you'd go to Burger King next time, and the DMV is indicative of government-run enterprise. Without oversight and competition you end up with poor results.
You are so full of SHIT it is amazing.
You need to read some history about the horrible grinding poverty in cities like New York before socialism and massive government regulation was introduced.
Also, google what I told the last guy.
You are literally just imagining shit and thinking it's real.
You're free to believe as you wish. I've studied enough history to know that you're comparing apples to oranges.
shareNo my friend, you are.
And you know what's worse? idiots that try to teach people that lived under socialism what socialism is and is not.
And the train of thought that is followed by said idiots: anyway we have socialism (education, army, etc) so why not have full blown socialism?
As seen in this idiot's case as expressed by himself "The side nonsense stuff that doesn't really matter is capitalist."
Socialists and communists like to argue that everything that's decent is socialist. So ... socialism is good. A word from a former socialist to an idiot socialist: gtfo.
One detail, the world 'socialism' has several meanings.
It can be used as a synonym of 'communism'. This meaning is less common nowadays, but it was the original meaning of the word and the most common one one century ago.
It can be used as a synonym of 'social democracy', which involves state services, as public schools and healthcare, and social-oriented rules applied to the market.
It's a waste of time to debate about what is socialism, because both are. Just say which meaning you're using when you use the word. Both of them are valid.
Good point.
The US has many socialist aspects. They are always essential services because capitalism does not work. The media propaganda is that the US is a "free market" and that's not even close to being true.
There massive regulations on a lot of things.
Most people interested in business are literally borderline morons and so they will never read about the past. However, in the past there have been horrible situations with construction, the FOOD INDUSTRY WAS INSANE, and so the government must force greedy profit seekers to to the minimum "right thing" or get arrested.
We have government planning and involvement where they "let you" own a business as long as you follow the rules. Other things like school is so important they really don't allow ownership.
I worked for the prison system years ago. They were trying to privatize that, but it was a disaster and people were getting killed. That's because you can't have some greedy bitch running a building full of killers who wants another BMW, so he cuts staffing.
That literally resulted in people getting murdered at work. Now we are back to a socialized prison system.
Actually no, they are not both valid.
One is a misrepresentation done by the US people specially.
List is WAY too long.
School. Yes
Human Services Yes. Some
That's it unless you are ready to stretch like Stretch Armstrong.
The military certainly is.
The train and airline industry is massively funded by the government. Many people don't know this.
Farming is massively controlled by the government.
These are so important to the nation that can't be controlled by average people because they will fuck it up.
I don't know if it'll be pushing socialism.
However I came across an interview with the screenwriter in which she was pretty dismissive of the "fanboys". Kind of tired of the fans being trashed by the media and people who work in that business.
She also admitted having no interest in the genre until being hired by Marvel. Also not a huge fan of violence, especially involving guns.
I imagine if/when this fails we'll get the standard line blaming toxic fans and horrible misogynistic straight men. Suddenly it'll be a "male genre" again! Oh, and maybe Corona.
Its a comic book movie
