Zootopia ripoff + American Idol + pop culture overload = GARBAGE

Seriously though, this looks like perhaps a new low for Illumination.

Exactly. The trailer literally gave me cancer

reply

Really? It literally gave you cancer?

reply

The abuse of the English word "literally" is literally cringe-worthy.

Wanna bet you don't cringe as hard at literally's "misuse" as I roll my eyes when someone complains about it?

Wanna bet you don't roll your eyes at complaints about word misuse as I find the irony of your own complaint hysterical?

This film literally punched me in the face and spit at me. Seriously, it literally did that. But I still like it.

reply

That comment made me shat. Literally! A million times.

reply

No, unless you can present a bonafide medical report, the film figuratively gave you cancer.

reply

I agree. I did not laugh once during the trailer. It looks unoriginal and cringeworthy.

reply

It certainly didn't make me sit up and pay attention... but I'm hoping (against hope) that it actually managed to be something decent.

But I doubt it will be.

But hey, I'm going in with low expectations, so I might be pleasantly surprised.

reply

yeah once i heard garth jennings was FINALLY making another film i was pumped out of mind...and then i heard what it's about...is he high or something? because this is honestly one of the worst premises i've ever heard. i cannot believe someone would actually think *beep* like that could possibly be even REMOTELY good

reply

It COULD be good, if it is treated very, very carefully.

It won't be treated very, very carefully, which will make it a shame, but... well... we can hope.

reply

Oh yeah, garbage.. maybe that's explain why this movie have higher rating than zootopia.. and for the records, this movie developed before zootopia, but zootopia released first..

reply

You call 88% on RottenTomatoes with 6.2/10 average score "higher" than 'Zootopia'?

reply

With the exception of Despicable Me (haven't seen its sequel), it honestly looks like Illumination has never made a good film, period. Minions looks crappy to be honest, Secret Life of Pets "meh"/stupid, and then...this. I failed to laugh a single time too, and the less said about that stupid scene with the rabbits, the better.

reply

what a stinker, and what the hell is Seth MacFarlane doing in a PG, it wont be the same with out his potty mouth or toilet humor

reply

You forgot Glee!
