Do Americans understand this?
I'm from Staffordshire and even I have trouble.
shareNot quite sure what you mean by understand. The speaking is fast and hard to understand for me (I'm from Texas and we talk slower and have different names for things.) But I use the closed caption option. It seems British English is a foreign language!
shareI'm an American and whilst I enjoy the show, I'd like a lot better if it came with subtitles. Speaking of which, what did that sheep boy tell his mother that causes her to blow his head off? Anyone?
shareMy closed caption works on it.
The sheep boy told his mum he killed 3/4 of the women
. I think you should try the cc next time since that sheep boy business was a major plot point.
shareYep, no problem. However, I have to use the closed caption when I watch Shetland.
