Shes a total bitch to Sadie everytime they interact, every word and facial expression by her is her being a bitch for no reason. Sadie's mom just died, she wears one of her moms dresses to school and the girl seriously gives her crap about it and then pushes her and gets crap all over the dress, then laughs about it.

And she doesn't get any kind of comeuppance, how do you have this character in a horror movie and she lives? we got little kids dying but this bitch can't get it? I thought for sure when they came over to Sadie's house thats where it was gonna happen, but nothing happens the creature shows up but never bothers any of them except Sadie her sister.

Blame it on the writing. Too over-the-top to be realistic. A group of girls are not gonna be that cruel to someone who's mom just died. But since you're gonna be stupid and put a nonsensical character like that in your movie, the audience wants to see her get hers. I wanted that bitch to die, too. But I think Mr. Boogey on attacks those it's attached to at the time.

Yeah it was ridiculously over the top, i've never seen or heard of anyone being that cruel to someone who just lost a parent, and laughing about messing up a dress her mom used to wear, what is she the devil? teenagers can be awful but not that fucking awful.

And yeah as a rule of thumb if you put a character that despicable and annoying in a horror movie they need to die, its the one genre you can get that satisfaction from most of the time.

The creature can only prey on people who are depressed and/or grieving, and Sadie's b*tch friends look like the type to laugh while torturing small animals.
