When they raided the house, there were over 30 decomposing corpses dry walled in the walls. The stench would have been overwhelming, but no one noticed a thing. Also, there's no way the thugs guarding the place (for some unknown reason) would have been able to stand being in there.
shareI wondered about that as well. The whole neighborboof would have smelled like a slaughterhouse. And why leave guards, unless drugs were stored there too, which I do not think so.
Also, all the corpses seemed to be of the same vintage. Were they all killed in the same event? Carried into the house in a middle class American suburb at the same time and walled up?
The corpses were sealed in plastic.
The only reason they did notice a smell was because of the shotgun blast breaking the wall and hitting one of the bodies, breaking the seal, releasing the stench.
Not an implausibility at all, I keep my cat’s shit stored in the litter genie, basically a plastic bag in a plastic box, which sits right by my toilet and his litter box, 2 weeks worth of cat shit in a plastic bag and I don’t smell a thing, and neither do my friends who come over and I’ve asked them not to be polite when giving me their two cents.
