I plan on watching some of these tonight.

Those are some extremely generous ratings. Has that ever occurred to you?

Blair Witch Project was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Just dreadful from start to finish.

check out Chernobyl Diaries, I enjoyed it, especially the ending

To the OP, The Last Broadcast is awesome, I thought, though I didn't find it really scary or disturbing psychology. I know of some people who were disappointed by the ending, but I wasn't let down by the ending at all.

However I was freaked out as all hell by Lake Mungo, and yeah, especially that one scene you referred to - anyone who's seen it definitely knows what scene you're talking about!! We had to back it up and watch it one more time because it was such a WTF moment. If I watch the movie again I am definitely skipping that part. Mercifully that scene is pretty brief but stayed with me a long time.

I can't remember if it was on your list, I'll have to check but I thought V/H/S was pretty effective and the sequel was not some terrible disappointment like I figured it would be.

So this one didn't make your list?

Clarification, along those lines, could be helpful.

Since I have a seizure disorder and can't watch Blair Witch (only listen) are there any that doesn't shake like that? I would love to really enjoy a found footage movie without having to feel nauseated and eventually have a seizure.

"Devil's Due" and "The Bay" are mostly okay in terms of shakiness.
"Paranormal Activitiy" (1-4, Tokyo Night) are mostly filmed with a webcam or a camera that's mounted to a wall, only the last 10 minutes are usually pretty shaky (DON'T watch "The Marked Ones").
"The Possession Of Michael King" should be fine too - only parts are filmed with a "shaky cam".
Oh, and "Cybernatural" exclusivly uses webcams and screen capturing, so no shaking at all.
