Oh look, there's an actor acting in a movie. And on top of that, he's making money for doing his job. How bizarre indeed.
I would urge the OP to not listen to people who tell you to ask any question, no matter how trivial. For him/her it would be better to never ask another question his/her life for posting such a morbid topic.
A great actor in a Transformers movie is pretty bizarre, hopefully this will indicate a massive improvement in the series quality overall.

There is already a list of the actors who have done well in other movies who have done Transformers movies. I'll add Orson Welles to that list. No one ever said they were making great films with these, but they do succeed at the box office while better (critically) films fail time and time again. They make more money making blockbuster movies now than thought provoking period pieces. Michael Bay makes good Michael Bay movies - I want to see a bunch of robots smacking each other around and if I have to go to the bathroom during the middle of the show, when I come back I won't have missed anything vital to my enjoyment of the show. Bang bang, I'll get you for that etc.
Kind of a shame though...
