My beef with this movie is why the hell was it a Road House remake? It was so much its own thing, it may as well have just been its own movie. There's a number of iconic elements from the original that should have been re-presented here. Instead, we have an almost completely different movie that simply uses the name and broadest concepts to garner interest. And since it ended up just being a Prime feature, that didn't even matter. It's a failure of a remake when it could have been a fairly decent stand-alone film.
shareI hated the location of the bar, it was not a run down rowdy bar, it was a good looking bar, right on the beach. All they did to add the rowdy part was add a biker gang.
share"biker gang" I thought the small budget really showed in that the bar only ever had a few patrons and the biker gang was just a handful of guys. There was about a thousand extras missing in every scene. How the hell they paying to have a different band playing this venue every night? Ain't nobody showing up!
