From Dusk till Dawn is waaaaaaaaaay better than Ash vs Evil Dead. Anyone agree?
Not at all. I watch both shows but I would say Ash Vs. Evil Dead is vastly superior.

I don't see why one has to be better than the other, I grew up a huge fan of both FDTD and Evil Dead, and have come to love both shows.

i think evil dead is a much better show than this one
but i prefer the original from dusk till dawn movie over anything evil dead related
They have a totally different tone. Evil dead keeps a lot of the horror comedy stuff going, whereas dusk plays it more serious (from what I've seen so far.. Only half way thru season 1). I personally think ash is slightly more entertaining
shareNo way Ash is The King Baby. Not that I would not love to see Ash party with the Gecko beothers. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy this show I just do not enjoy it nearly as much as Ash.
shareAsh is far better, far better. Ash unlike DD never feels low budget in the scenery, they do a pretty good job in that regard. After seeing the last episode(or the two last) of DD I just lost all interest in the show, it was so cheap and tacky. Even if that was the idea , it was a very bad idea because I didn't like it at all. It just felt like they were cutting the cost downs nothing else.
Ash also has a good amount of dark comedy that actually works fairly well. DD takes itself quite serious, which was good in the beginning. The first episode or two, I think it was? They were quite good actually! The scenery, the acting, the actors, dialogues and what not. Not sure where they went so wrong, but there is no way I'll watch S2 or S3 for that matter.
Ashley vs the Evil Dead is waaaaaaaaaaay better IMHO. I'll take Bruce Campbell over George Clooney anytime -- at least in this type of film.

?? Okay, I suppose. But wouldn't you say that the quality of a show depends in large part on the cast? Isn't that why casting is such a major factor in production? If the lead actors were reversed (i.e. Campbell in " From Dusk..." and Clooney in "Ash vs..."), I would still like "Ash vs..." better. On second thought, your comment is not really "okay", but it's really not worth going into here. Are you an elementary school teacher, by any chance?
shareLol, what the other poster is saying is simply that, while George Clooney played the role of Seth Gecko originally, in the movie of From Dusk till Dawn, the role is now played by DJ Controna in the TV series. So there's really no reason why Clooney's name should be brought up for this specific topic. We're not talking about the films, but the shows that have been created after them.
